Emerging Airport Suppliers Conference

The event was attended mainly by airport executives from the ME, the Gulf, India and Africa. HE Khalifa al Zaffin, Executive Chairman Dubai World Central opened the conference and hosted the participants for Dinner at the Madinat.

Beside the information gathered from presentations, there was ample time for networking and communication.
GATE’s message “The role of suppliers for emerging airports” - submitted by Dieter A. Heinz - was in the essence “…rely on the German quality airport industry at any stage of development” and he proved it with references in the history of aviation in the Gulf and the ME.
Mr. Arne Röhrig, CEO of ICM Airport Technics and member of GATE, presented the latest development for future check-in and security technologies.
